How to clean ice molds

I. Conventional cleaning methods

1. Remove the ice mold and clean the residue

Before using water and neutral detergent to clean the ice mold, remove the ice inside the mold and rinse it with water.

2.Make detergent foam

Add neutral detergent to water, stir and froth. Large stains can be applied directly with soap.

3. Brush with a soft brush

Use soft bristle brush with foam or soapy water to brush gently, can not use hard bristle brush scrubbing, in order to avoid scratching the surface of the mold.

4. Rinse with clean water to sterilize

Rinse with flowing water, the ice mold after rinsing clean, can be boiled in boiling water for 5 minutes, disinfection and drying.

Precautions

1. Use neutral cleaning agent

Do not use acidic or alkaline cleaning agent when using ice-making molds, it will damage the surface of the mold and cause harm to the body.

2. Avoid using hard objects to scrub

Do not use hard bristles to scrub when cleaning with a brush, as it will damage the surface of the mold.

3. Clean and dry thoroughly

After cleaning, be sure to rinse with running water and do not leave any soap residue. Air dry before storing.
